They were available online from urban outfitters, now no longer. Looking for them, or something similar.

Is there any place downtown that has apple cider I can buy? I'm hoping jugs or whatever. I need it for a shindig tonight and I'm wondering if anyone has any leads? Metro maybe?

TIA :)

EDIT: Thanks for all the quick and knowledgeable replies! You guys are the best!

Hello Toronto!

I am taking my mother out for dinner and a show for Christmas this year.

We are going to the Panasonic Theater, Near Yonge and Charles.

I am not familiar with the restaurants in that area.

Anyone have any suggestions of good places to eat? Not too expensive but not fast food either.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Sorsha

Hi all,

My friend is desperately seeking a place in the GTA that sells framed prints of jazz/blues musicians. This is for a Christmas present for her dad so you'd really be helping her out a lot. Thanks very much you guys.

Is anyone here a member (or been a member) of Premier Fitness? I'm particularly interested in their Yorkdale mall gym. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thank you!

URGENT HELP NEEDED!!!

My friends and I have had a reservation at a lodge up north for the New Year's Eve which got cancelled by the lodge and we would hate to stay in town - does anyone know of anyone (cottage, lodge, etc.) still having vacancy for Dec. 31 to Jan 2nd?? Price is a big factor...

Thank you!

For some reason these bags seem to be hiding from me. I'm looking for a sling bag/one shoulder strap purse. I'm heading to the Eaton Center again tonight to try to scour one out. Has anyone seen one or know of good places to look?

Thanks so much guys. Happy holidays!

Okay winter is here, and I am looking into getting some nice water proof hiking boots. I love the way they look so suggestions on stores? I know Sportchek, Coast Mountain, MEC.

Also Casio, calculator watches, somewhere that is downtown and not double the actual price?

Thanks soooo much

And happy holidays!

Hi everyone, according to Ombra's website:
Sep 15, 2009: Original Melkfett cream at Shoppers Drug Mart

We are pleased to inform you that the Ombra Original Melkfett skin cream is now available at select SHOPPERS DRUG MART stores in the skin care section across Canada.

However, I have been to three separate Shoppers, and not only do they not have it, but they are convinced that Shoppers doesn't carry it. WTF? Has anyone seen it in any Shoppers anywhere?

TIA!

Did anyone of you receive a call from one of the follow two numbers?

"877 274 4589"...which somehow have my mother's full name, and when I asked them who they are, they refused and kept asking to be put through, and stated sounding rude.

When they called again, and I ignored them, they kept ringing for three times, hung up, and then called again a minute later.

"(905) 345-4321"...asked for Mr./Ms.___

I just called the complaint line at CRTC; 1-866-580-DNCL (866-580-3625), alas, they stopped taking complaints at 4:30pm (but I think the registry is open for those who have not done it yet).

My retired mom likes to look casual-yet-affluent around the house. I bought her a fancy bamboo yoga tracksuit for Christmas last year from Cat Tilt near Trinity-Bellwoods and she loved it. So, no brainer: go back to Cat Tilt and buy her another one for Christmas this year, right?

WRONG! Because tomorrow is my only day to shop and Cat Tilt is closed on Tuesdays! Argh!

So where does one buy beautiful expensive tracksuits in this city? Also, do you have an amazing tracksuit that you would recommend? Tell me about it!

No Lululemon or Juicy, thanks.

Hi Toronto,

I'm kind of desperate.
I was going to get my brother a wacky alarm clock from Rolo, but they seem to be sold out.

So my question is - has anyone SEEN alarm clocks that involve puzzles or shooting a target or this http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/9171/ anywhere in Toronto? Even Clocky - the alarm clock on wheels that runs away, for a reasonable prize (ie. not $70, when it's $40 online).

Thanks!

hi all.

we're missing a kitty. he escaped on saturday night, near college and spadina, and we can't find him.

he's a pretty orange striped cat, and sometimes answers to the name "softie"  we know that he might be fine, or been taken in by some nice people, but he's got some dietary needs that mean it's even more important to find him quickly.

if you see him, please, please, please let me know.

thanks.

My ipod recently died and since my warranty is up I'm trying to determine which is more cost effective, to get it repaired or purchase a new one all together?
I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the hardware and the sad ipod icon appears on the screen when i turn it on.
Has onyone tried the iRepair store or any other alternatives?
Any feedback would be great

Has anyone here had the lovely experience of dealing with the Natale Law Office?  They left me a message on Friday (with nothing but their phone number) and after googling it, I'm already dreading finding out what kind of stunt they're attempting to pull on me.  The Better Business Bureau even gives them an F rating, the lowest of the low.

Reply with your email and I'll send you details about meet-up times. I prefer somewhere between Downsview and St. George stations.

All books are $5, except $8 for hardcovers. All CDs are $10. I'll definitely do deals if you're buying more than one item.
